Our Services
Everything We Do Is Designed for Your Individual Care
At NextGen Hearing Center, we offer an exceptional range of professional hearing services. Please contact us to schedule an appointment for any of the following:
Hearing Evaluations
Hearing tests are an essential part of your overall health and well-being. It is recommended to get a hearing test once every decade until age 50, and once every three years thereafter. Those in higher-risk professions or with a medical history indicating a higher risk of hearing loss should be tested even more frequently. Our hearing evaluations are completely painless and take about 90 minutes from the time you walk in the door to when you are ready to leave again. We can normally ascertain not only the state of your hearing ability but the root causes of any hearing loss we discover. Aside from standard hearing testing procedures, we incorporate video otoscopy for detailed viewing of your ear canal, as well as computerized hearing aid analysis, or Real Ear Measurement (REM).
Earwax Removal
Under normal circumstances, earwax (cerumen) should be automatically evacuated from your ear canal by the jaw movements involved in speaking and chewing. If you have impacted or excessive earwax, we can quickly, safely, and painlessly remove it using one of a number of available procedures. We will consult with you about how to avoid impacted earwax going forward, or how to avoid needing professional services for earwax removal.
TeleCare/Telehealth
Most hearing aid manufacturers now have options for TeleCare through the smartphone apps associated with their hearing aids. Using this software, we can hold a video conference with you directly through your hearing aids’ smartphone app, and apply adjustments to your fitting. Contact us to find out the full range of services that can be performed via telehealth.
Cleaning Services
We provide professional cleaning services for all makes and models of hearing aids. Aside from regular home maintenance, regular professional cleaning can help your hearing aids last much longer. Nearly 60% of out-of-warranty repairs are made as a result of accumulated moisture and debris, and our professional cleaning includes 100% removal of both. Experience your hearing aids like new again!

Hearing Accessories “Loaner” Hearing Instruments
Hearing aid repairs that require a return to the manufacturer can leave you without your hearing aids for ten days, or even more. We can provide a loaner set for that time so your hearing aid repair doesn’t have to interrupt your life!
Custom Earmolds
Custom earmolds are required for essential hearing products ranging from certain hearing aids to high-quality custom earplugs, to in-ear monitors for musicians or other professionals. If you have had your hearing aids for a while and are starting to have issues with “whistling” (feedback), it could be that your ear canal’s shape has changed and you need new earmolds. Whatever your concern may be, we can take an accurate impression of your ear canal and produce a perfectly-fitting earmold for custom hearing protection, hearing aids, or professional in-ear audio products. Custom hearing protection is ideal for:
- Hunters and gun enthusiasts
- Musicians and music enthusiasts
- Swimmers and surfers
- Carpenters and hobbyists
- Anyone who spends significant time around loud sound
Talk to us about the loud activities you enjoy, and we will help you find the best custom hearing protection solution for your specific application.
Hearing Loss Rehabilitation
If you’ve lived with untreated hearing loss for a long time, it may take a while to get used to listening again, even when you start wearing hearing aids or cochlear implants. We offer rehabilitation services to help you adjust to your hearing treatment and retrain your brain to listen more automatically, once again.
Counseling for Hearing Loss and Tinnitus
Hearing loss or bothersome tinnitus can affect our mental health and make it difficult for us to perform our normal daily routines. Counseling can be incredibly valuable in reframing our hearing loss and/or tinnitus as part of our normal life, rather than as a devastating problem. Most people can adjust to living with hearing loss and/or tinnitus with counseling assistance.
Educational Seminars
Talk to us about visiting your organization or support group to discuss a range of hearing-related topics. We provide educational seminars regarding hearing loss treatment, hearing protection, and more.
